Club Fees and Equipment Costs

spcCurrently our fees are:
  • 30$ for 1 Month Membership.
  • 75$ for 3 Month Mebership (15$ savings!)
  • 150$ for 6 Month Mebership (30$ savings!)
  • 300$ for 12 Month Mebership (60$ savings!)

spcEquipment used:
    spcThe Club will provide the required equipment (Shinai, or "bamboo sword") for beginners to use
    during their first few classes. However, you will be required to purchase your own Shinai within a
    reasonable amount of time should you decide to join, as the amount of club gear is limited.
  • Average cost of a Shinai: $40-$70 each.
  • Average cost for Hakama and Gi (traditional practice clothes): $120-$150 per set.
  • Average cost for a set of Bogu (Body Armour): $500 and up.
spcThe prices of Kendo equipment increases as the quality of the item increases.
  • All you need to bring are Shorts, T-Shirt, and Bare Feet.

  • Tuesdays 7pm-8pm & Saturdays 10am-Noon At The Banook Canoe Club (Big Red Building), Upstairs in the gym.
