Club Fees and Equipment Costs

 

Club fees are $75.00 for a 3 month term but, as always, your first class is free! In fact we encourage new students to try a few classes before committing to membership.

 

For beginners, the club will provide a Shinai (bamboo sword) for your first few classes but we would expect you to get your own within a reasonable amount of time as the amount of club gear is limited. All you need to bring for your first few classes are suitable cloths, your bare feet and a good attitude!

 

· Average cost of a Shinai - $40.00 to $70.00

· Average cost of Hakama and Gi (uniform) - $120.00-$150.00

· Average cost for a full  set of Bogu (armor) - $500.00 and up

Classes are in the 4th Floor gymnasium of the Abbie J. Lane building in the Camp Hill Medical Center. Classes are Sundays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
