HKC Open 2003

The Halifax Kendo Club will be holding its 4th annual tournament on Saturday, October 4th 2003. The event is tentatively scheduled to begin at 9:00am in the upstairs court of the Kings College Gym. We will also be scheduling a "free for all" practice session or a Kendo Seminar the following day, Sunday October 5th tentatively to begin at 9am. More details on this and registration information will be available soon.

Last years tournament was an incredible success as it was: We are hopeful that this years event will be just as successful, if not even better!

The HKC's 4th annual tournament, initially scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4th has been cancelled due to Hurricane Juan's rampage through Halifax. However, it has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8:00pm in the upstairs court of the Kings College Gym. The Kendo Seminar will be held the next day Sunday, Nov. 23 at 9:00am in the HKC's regular dojo location.

On Nov. 22 / 2003 the HKC held its 4th annual tournament. It was full of great matches, and everyone had lots of fun. These are only a few of the pictures taken. More will be put up soon, including some from the seminar lead by Sensei Matthew Raymond. Click here to see the pics taken by Christina Grava of the UoT Kendo Club.
